The VMOD-1000SCR is a fully automated inspection system that not only inspects for part ID, but also loads parts into a bagging system or sealer by utilizing a six axis robot. The system is often coupled with an IFU feeding system and barcode scanner so that the six axis robot can pick, scan and verify the IFU prior to placing it along with the part into the bagging system or sealer. Many customers choose to utilize a label print and apply system which can also include machine vision verification of either barcode based or OCR/OCV for label content. This allows the operator to walk up to the system placing entire lot of components on the conveyor, start the order and walk away. From there the system inspects indexes the inspected components and places all components in the bag ensuring that before any bag is sealed all components are present and correct for the order. The system is enclosed in a secure robotics cell that contains safety disconnects on all openings.
